GIMAC - Copy Items Between different ISIM Entities
There are many occasions on which an ISIM administrator would wish to copy definisitions from one Person (or other entity)
to another: -
- Carol needs the same Accesses as Ted
- Bob needs the same Roles as Alice
- I need to add 10 people to 10 Roles
- I need to copy Entitlements from one Provisioning Policy to another
GIMAC administrators can place collections of items on to the WorkPad to be imported to other objects. The following is currently
supported: -
So for administration purposes we can create temporary Groups of Roles, Accesses and Entitlements which can then be added to other ISIM entities. This allows selective copying of data between entities of the same type.
- Roles from an existing Person or Role search results
- Accesses from an existing Person or Access search results
- Entitlements from Provisioning Policies
